It has been about 7 months since I last posted anything on this blog. I do not know how I should start.
First, let me apologize. I am sorry that I did not post anything. It was never intentional. Please, allow me to use the international excuse: I have been busy!
I am thankful to have this job. However, the pay is terrible. To say that I am paid peanuts would be a lie. It is worse. Thankfully, I am still alive. What this job does not give me financially, it offers in experience. I have never learned so much in so short a time. With this job, I have been tested to bone marrow. I have met all kinds of people. Despite all, I am still strong. i am still standing.
“It don’t matter what you tried to do, you couldn’t destroy me! I’m still standing! I’m still strong! And I always will be.” – Antwone Fisher
A few years ago, Jesus was my tight. Then I got myself into wrong habits and friends misled me (I take the blame for all that I have done or failed to do), Jesus had nothing to do with that. So without even a goodbye, I abandoned him. Jesus does not give up easily, while I swayed left and right, He never took His eyes off me. Everytime, I fell, He was there. When, I was alone, He was there. When I was lost, He was there. When I could not sleep at night, He was there. When I was broke, He was there.
Friends, it took me a long time to realise that He is actually my ONLY true friend. I have made up my mind, starting today, we are re-igniting our relationship. I want to be his friend again. I want to walk with Him again.
“He loved us before we were born, and He loves us now. This is our identity in Christ; it is who we are—God’s beloved children. That’s something to think about throughout the day.” David H. Roper
These are ramblings of a confused young man (wait, I am not young anymore). I thank you for taking the time to read. You are very special.
If you are in Kampala this weekend, go and support Myko Ouma. Not because he is a talented guitarist. He is my OB. By supporting him, you support me too! He will be performing at Kati Kati on Saturday 14th September 2013.
PS: Myko, you owe me for this ka-lango!
Enjoy your weekend. Let me go find that lunch.
